But why school teachers require an increase ?

 Loss of purchasing power of civil servants: 9% since 2003

 Increase in 2008: 0.5% for official inflation of 2% ; for teachers no pay rise and instead decreased more benefits (division by two of the replacements for example).

 skyrocketing prices: rent: + 25% in 10 years, oil-fuel: 50% , Supply: + 4.1%, EDF: +5%, GDF: + 2% etc. ...
